Comfort quality standards with “Wheat ears”

Each accommodation, or farm, associated in Farmstay Sweden (“Bo på Lantgård Sverige”) is classified from 1 to 5 “Wheat ears”, which describes the quality of comfort. The standards make it easier to choose your preferred type of accommodation. We use the “Wheat ears” scale for both B&Bs and self-catering houses/cabins.

A warm welcome is a must for Farmstay Sweden accommodations. On site, this means the farm is signposted and lit in the dark, the place is well cared for and clean.  Hospitality is our mantra, therefore, you can expect first-hand information about the farm and its surrounding from your host: Sights, timetables, events, distance and opening-times of nearby shops and restaurants etc.

Farmstay Sweden is constantly working with helping the environment and sustainability. Thus, your host will inform you about the farm’s environmental policies and give you further tips and instructions, for example on waste separation.
