Stay in the Heart of Sweden’s “Apple Kingdom” – A Cozy Farmhouse Retreat in Österlen
Welcome to a charming countryside stay on a traditional Skåne farm, nestled in the heart of Österlen’s apple-growing region. From the farm, you’re just a short walk or bike ride away from scenic trails, restaurants, an ICA supermarket, cafés, a bus stop, and popular destinations like Stenshuvud National Park, Kivik, and other local highlights.
On-site, you’ll find a farm shop offering fresh apple juice and apples from our own orchards during the season. Our kitchen garden also sells seasonal vegetables and berries. Pets are welcome in the cottage “Vedboden,” where you’ll stay surrounded by nature, apple trees, and grazing cows with calves on the farm’s rolling hills—a peaceful and harmonious rural escape.
For delicious dining, we recommend Brösarp’s inn (with spa facilities), Talldungen’s restaurant, Grisen & Draken’s Skåne-style street food, or the local pizzeria. Café Smulan serves fresh pastries and baked goods. These restaurants are just 600–1000 meters from the farm.
The sea and its endless sandy beaches are only a few kilometers away. A lockable bike shed is available. If you haven’t brought your own bike, we offer six adult bikes, one child seat, and additional rentals are available in the neighboring village. We also rent out freshly pressed bed linen (duvet covers, sheets, pillowcases) and towels in three sizes. Breakfast buffets are available at Café Smulan and Brösarp’s inn. Guests also have access to a modern shared laundry room.
Your hosts, Eva and Jörgen, live on the farm with their dogs, Milou and Ronja, as well as with their farm cat. We love animals, nature, and restoring the farm’s houses and apartments—always with the goal of making your stay memorable.

Wood-fired sauna
Unwind in Källagården’s wood-fired sauna, beautifully located by the pond at the forest’s edge. Alternate between soothing sauna sessions and refreshing dips in the spring water.
Guests can light the stove themselves or let us prepare it for you—firewood and kindling are included. Outside the sauna, there’s a cold-water shower, and bath slippers are available to borrow. The sauna can be booked as an add-on service.
